In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial you will learn how to make a simple stylish header web graphic in just a few easy steps.

1.
Start with a white background layer then make an empty layer to contain the header graphic.

Drag a rectangular selection over the stage (the base shape of the header), then go to select -> modify -> smooth and smooth it about 25.

Hold down shift, press backspace and fill it with the color white.

In the layers panel double click the header graphic layer to get to the layers style panel, and give it settings as shown below.

With the header selection still loaded, go to select -> modify -> contract and contract it about 25 px.
Make a new empty layer fill it with white color by holding down shift and press backspace.

Double click the new layer in the layers panel and in the layser styles panel give it settings as in the images below.

7.
Now you can write in some text or put in some graphics if you want.
