Simple Blue Text Effect In Photoshop
In this tutorial I will show you how you are able to make this nice glossy blue text effect in Adobe Photoshop
1.
Start by double clicking the background layer to get to the layers style panel, go to gradient overlay and set it as in the image below.

Go to pattern overlay and locate the pattern as in the image below.

With the text tool, type in the text you want to add this effect to.
In the layers panel right click the text layer and choose rasterize layer.

In the layers panel, double click the text layer to get to the layers style panel, and give it settings as shown below.
Atlast give it a default drop shadow

Now hold down ctrl and click the text layer to load the selection.
Make a new layer and name it reflection.
With the elliptical selection tool and selection mode called intersect with selction, drag over the top half of the selection as shown below.

Now make a gradient going from white to transparent and drag it over the selection.
7.
Make a new layer.
With the line tool draw a line as in the image below, with thickness of about 25px.
In the layers panel, right click and rasterize layer.

Go to filters -> blur -> motion blur and set it as shown below.
9.
Go to image -> adjustments -> hue and saturations to change the color of the line.
10.
Double click the layer in the layers panel and give it a outer glow as shown in the image below.
