In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial you will see how to make a texture with stained metal effect.

1.
Start by filling the layer with a white color, the go to filters -> filter gallery and locate the filter called sketch and set it as shown below.

Go to filters -> blur -> motion blur and set it as below.

Now we will make the texture a bit brighter so go to image -> adjustments -> levels and drag the handles as below.

Now we will blur the texture a bit, so go to filters -> blur -> gaussian blur and set it to about 1.

Now go to filters -> rendere -> lightning effect and give it a light effect as shown below.

And we are done.
